David Bywater – Environmental Scientist at the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve.

His presentation will be on “The State of the Bay: Planning Stewardship in your Backyard”.

David Bywater is an Environmental Scientist with the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve. Based in Parry Sound, David leads on conservation and species at risk programs. Prior to joining the GBBR team, David worked as an environmental consultant performing environmental impact assessments in the Arabian Peninsula.

MLGA Director attends special workshop on Effective Lake Stewardship held in Huntsville at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment.

May 25, 2013 – At the workshop on Effective Lake Stewardship, (L-R) attendees Brian Hull, Director, Mill Lake Guardians’ Association and Kelly Bancroft, State University of New York (just completed her master’s degree on Lake Associations in Ontario), with presenter Natalya Melnychuk, Water Policy and Governance Group at the University Of Waterloo, exhibitor Kimberley Schiefer, Bluewater Biosciences, and presenter Terry Rees, Executive Director of FOCA, the Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations.
